Treatment goals that are set for the individuals we work with often vary depending on their age, support needs and who creates their goals. As learners develop, their skill sets expand and evolve, creating the need to reassess these goals. This talk explores the challenges of transitioning from one age to the next and how interdisciplinary teams can plan for meaningful functional skill development. We will highlight how professionals can apply evidence-based practices to support independence across various settings encountered in adolescence.
