Description
The Where Are We Going? book series is designed to help young children with or without developmental delays, feel successful, more relaxed, and more engaged in a community activity. This is accomplished using the Tell and Show Before You Go™ method of teaching, a simple story theme, 16 pages of color photographs, and picture symbols. The books involve and entertain while teaching the child appropriate social behavior, promoting verbal and non-verbal language, and sequencing the transitions in a community activity. Strategies related to each book’s theme are provided to facilitate using the Tell and Show Before You Go™ method of teaching and interactive reading.
