The Tolerating “No” Product Pack contains visual tools that caregivers and professionals can use to say “no,” “not now” and “wait.” This product bundle contains 1 Wait Card, 1 Earn-Do Card, 1 Mini Schedule Board, and 1 Universal No Page.
Wait Card: Developed for teaching the concept of waiting with visual support. Learners are handed the card when they are asked to wait. The card acts as a promissory note for the item/activity requested or anticipated. Dimensions: 5 -1/2″ x 5″
Earn-Do Card: Simple and effective tool for positive behavior and task completion. Earn-to Do cards are based on the effective “reinforcer first” strategy. After identifying a powerful reinforcer, list work or lesson that needs to be completed. As you provide tokens, the learner will visually see progress toward their reinforcer. Excellent for all environments and all ages. Includes: One Earn-Do Card, VELCRO® Brand hook and loop VELCOIN® fasteners and tokens. Note: Token color may vary from those pictured and present a choking hazard.
Mini Schedule Board: Help learners know what is coming up next in their daily routine. This easily portable 14″x 3″ schedule board can be carried from activity to activity or hung vertically. Includes VELCRO® Brand hook fasteners and features a roomy ‘finished” box at the bottom to store pictures after activity completion. Color will vary.
Universal No Page: Designed as a unique page for use in our Small and Large PECS Communication Books where we move pictures of items that are unavailable. The learner can still exchange the picture but will learn that if the picture is on the NO page, the item is not available. Once the item is available again, move it back into the book where it is normally stored. Our Universal NO Pages are available in Small (6 ¾” x 4 ¼”) or Large (8.5” x 7”). Two strips of VELCRO® Brand hook included with every page.
