In honor of National Fire Safety Week and AAC Awareness Month, join Andy Bondy, PhD, and Lori Frost, MS, CCC-SLP, developers of PECS®, alongside Alison Clark, NSCP and Katrina Arthur, MPH, from the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation (AARBF), for a special 30-minute webinar introducing the N.I.C.K. (Neurotypical/diverse Independent Communication Kit) for Fire and Burn Safety.

Developed in partnership between AARBF and Pyramid Educational Consultants, the N.I.C.K. program brings life-saving fire safety education to autistic and neurodivergent learners, early readers, and individuals with communication challenges using PECS® visual supports.

This free session will highlight the story behind the N.I.C.K. program, the importance of planning and teaching for unexpected events, and practical strategies for introducing essential safety messages like Stop, Drop, and Roll and Cool a Burn for 5 Minutes. Together, we can make fire safety accessible for all learners.

Register to join this free 30-minute presentation followed by a Question-and-Answer session.
