The co-developers of PECS, Andy Bondy, PhD, and Lori Frost, MS, CCC-SLP, will present at the 44th Annual Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Convention in San Diego, California, on May 25th and May 28th, 2018, along with several consultants from Pyramid Educational Consultants, USA.
Pyramid Consultants Jesse Collins, M.Ed., BCBA, Jaime Wedel, M.Ed., BCBA, and Paige Panetta, M.Ed., BCBA will present a pre-convention workshop (#W39) on Friday, May 25th, from 8:00am- 3:00pm entitled, “Mastered PECS: What’s Next? Transitioning From PECS to Speech Generating Devices.”
Dr. Bondy will present a pre-convention workshop (#W98) on Friday, May 25th from 4:00pm- 7:00pm, entitled “Prompting, Stimulus Control, and Error Correction: What’s Your Teaching Ritual?”
Ms. Frost will Chair a Symposium (#463) on Monday, May 28th from 12:00pm- 12:50pm entitled, “Vocal Behavior During Transition from PECS to Speech Generating Device: Impact of Teaching Strategies and Voice Output” with Dr. Bondy (Discussant) and Dr. Julie Koudys (CE Instructor).
